Event Details
Date: August 8th - 11th
Location: Jack McGowan Farm,
20001 Hawkeye Lane,
Mankato, Minnesota 56001
Will Call
All ticket packages are available at will call at the front gate. Please bring a state-issued ID or passport and be prepared to sign a release of liability waiver upon arrival. This ensures a smooth check-in process and allows you to quickly begin enjoying the festival.
Bring Your Bliss
We ask all guests to bring their bliss (cup or bowl) and a spoon to the dinner circle to be served free food from the kitchen. This tradition allows everyone to enjoy a communal and sustainable dining experience. Please remember to bring your own bliss and utensils to participate fully in this wonderful shared meal.
Bring Your Poetry
We encourage everyone to bring poetry, whether it's your own or a favorite. Write some poems down and keep them in your pocket. Throughout the festival, you will have the opportunity to share your words with the group. The Poetry Circle on Saturday during the dinner circle is a special time when everyone gets a chance to share their lyrics.
Fire Circle
To participate in the Fire Circle, you must attend the fire safety meeting. Please bring your own props and fuel if you plan to spin fire. This ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
Kitchen Donations
The kitchen needs food donations. Please text "FOOD" to (206) 865-6357 and you will be given a food item to grab from the store. Bring the food item to the kitchen to get a kitchen crew wristband. Additionally, you can volunteer to take a shift in the kitchen to help prepare food for everyone. Your contribution helps us ensure that everyone can enjoy a delicious meal.
Camping
Primitive camping is available on-site for free for the duration of the festival. Additionally, car campsites are available for purchase. Please bring your own camping gear and be prepared for all weather conditions. There are designated camping areas, and we ask that you respect the space and privacy of other campers. Facilities will be available, but please bring any additional supplies you might need to ensure a comfortable stay. Camping and parking are also allowed at vendor sites.
Pack it in, Pack it out
There are no trash cans at Lost 40. You will be expected to bring your own trash bag and take your trash with you when you leave the festival. This helps us keep the festival grounds clean and beautiful for everyone to enjoy.
Cash Only
Please note that the event is cash-only. We do not have an ATM or credit card system on-site. Be sure to bring enough cash to cover any purchases or expenses during the festival.
Bring Snacks
We encourage everyone to bring snacks and other food for personal use. The kitchen is run by festival attendees and will attempt to produce three meals per day, but results may vary. There are no food vendors on-site, so please be responsible for your own dietary restrictions and ensure you have enough food to meet your needs.
Keep It Sexy
With excitement and anticipation,
Lost 40
